Single Phase: UL Listed and CSA Certified Transformers.
Transformers are encapsulated to 10 KVA, are rated indoor-outdoor installation and have 155ºC or 180ºC insulation class with 115ºC temperature rise. Transformers 15 KVA and larger have 220ºC insulation class with 150ºC temperature rise and are provided with taps 2-2½% FCAN and 4-2½% FCBN.
ISOLATION TRANSFORMERS are designed to protect Systems from unwanted high-frequency voltages that can occur due to switching and loading on distribution lines. These disturbances can have a detrimental effect on sensitive electronic equipment and can cause improper operation. Isolated windings brings these unwanted signals to ground thus preventing the electrical disturbances from being transmitted to the load circuits.
Three Phase, 60 Hz:
UL Listed and CSA certified Transformers.
Transformers up to 9 kVA are designed with 2-5% FCBN taps, 115° C temperature rise, 180° C insulation class, encapsulated for indoor-outdoor installations.
Transformers 15 KVA and larger are designed with 2-2½% FCAN and 4-2½% FCBN taps, 150° C temperature rise, 220ºC insulation class. Outdoor weather-shields available.
Designed to meet the requirements of SCR controlled variable speed motor drives. They are specifically constructed to withstand the mechanical forces associated with SCR drive duty cycles and to isolate the line from most SCR generated voltage spikes and transient feed back. Similarly, the two winding construction also aids in reducing some types of line transient that can cause misfiring of the SCR's.
UL listed 150ºC Temperature Rise. 220ºC Insulation Systems. Primary is supplied with 1-5% FCAN and 1-5% FCBN Tap for voltage adjustment.
Powertran Industrial Control (Machine Tool) Transformers are
available with 55ºC (class A) Temperature Rise and with 115ºC (class F)
Temperature Rise. Transformers are designed and manufactured in accordance with
NEMA, ANSI, JIC, and Automotive standards using UL Recognized Insulating System
PT-180 or PT-220.
Transformers are wound using Copper Magnet Wire and the Primary and Secondary
windings are interleaved for high inrush capability.

UNIQUE INDUSTRIAL CONTROL TRANSFORMERS
These transformers have, on top of all the features of our standard Industrial Control Transformers, their own Buck- Boost winding on Primary. This enables the user to adjust to use these transformers for a wide variety of Primary input voltages as shown. This is a very unique feature and is being extensively used in the OEM industries.
